[Misc] Colorqube 9303 dumping silicon oil from cleaning unit

Oil dumping replace unit and still dumping. Lower tray fills up wiped Area and checked days later. Not sure if it is just applying to much to drum and just drips off. Thanks, any suggestions would be appreciated

I've never serviced one that didn't yak oil all over the lower tray. Some cleaning units are also worse than others.

I'm not aware of an oil adjustment NVM.

Mind you.... I did have one with a piece paper lodged in the IOD area... it acted like a wick in an old school lamp and siphoned off oil making a massive mess. Users just kept ramming jobs through it.

Remove IOD, transfix shrouds etc. And make sure you don't have a hidden siphon.

White leaving quite a bit in that tray. Where does the oil supposed to go? Does it fall back in the unit?

It just sits there in a thin sheen of disgusting. Occasionally it gathers a dead fly or bits of green belt when your drum drive shreds.

As a rule of thumb I leave it alone until it overflows and pisses out on the floor. Usually around three million copies.

Honestly the Colorqube are wretched Chinese feces. If it prints, count your blessings and don't ask why.
