ColorQube 8900 - separate the paper pedestal

I am looking for advice on how to separate a Xerox ColorQube 8900 from the paper base.

Looking at the front of the copier, on the left hand side, I see two gold coloured screws. I am not sure if they are Torx or Hexagonal. What size tool do I need two remove them?

Looking at the front of the copier, on the right hand side, I can see the two screws to remove and the bottom of two rubber feet.

Please advise as the customer wants to relocate their copier and it would be much easier if the copier was in two pieces.

    Thanks,

As far as I can see it just rests on top of the base on the guide pins.

Here is the link for installing the base unit.

I see no hard attachments in the instructions.

I went back to the copier with several Allen keys but none of them fit.

I took a picture of the screws with my phone and then expanded it to max. I now think they are Torx screws.

I misspoke when I said the copier was resting on a Paper Pedestal. It is actually resting on a 2nd paper cassette on a fancy stand.

        I really appreciate your efforts.

In the end, the gold colored Torx screws was a misdirection. I had to jiggle the front left corner of the copier with extra force to seperate the second cassette from the copier. It was only held on by gravity.

That's kinda what I remembered (and the instructions implied).

            Glad you got it off

Just remember when you put it back on to go down super straight, and be lined up, or you will break the plastic connector that connects the two.

            Good luck.
