Anyone seeing Airprint issues on the C8145/81xx?
Have a customer who replaced their fleet of 7830's with 8145's. 78's worked with Airprint just fine, and so do all of the Versalinks they have on site. These three 81's though, not so much. You can see them from your phone, you can select them, you can send a job, but the job never prints and then anywhere from 90 seconds to 2 minutes later a message pops up on your phone "Printer <xyz> Offline." No codes at the Altalink, no jobs, nothing.
I've reset to factory and tried. I've updated the fw via a forced altboot to latest SPAR 114.xxx.xxx.xx. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with an analyst who remoted in and played with settings (tbh, based on what I was watching happen on the screen, the analyst did NOT know his way around the interface and he was just randomly turning things off and on and saying, "Try that...") I reset the software per the analyst. I even did yet another forced altboot followed by a restore of a clone of the setup with the analysts changes, per the analyst again. Still the same failure. Same failure for everyone in the company, and my iphone as well.
Works with Workplace App, but not with airprint. Customer is dead set on airprint and I am to the point of throwing up my hands. So, if anyone out there has any ideas - even if they are ones I have already tried - I am wide open to suggestions.
