[Electrical] Xerox Workcenter 3220 scaner reads nothing after repairing broken line on cable ribbo

continuity tests where done while I had the scanner moving manualy, to check if repair was done properly or it was anywhere miissing a bit as before.
No mixed lines or anything .
If I totaly unplug the cable and try to scan I get a completely black printout.
I will also try to insulate the repair in case of short circuit somehow .. ? If that is the problem ?

Did you fix the flat cable or replace it... as it should be

I think its clear that I fixed it and did continuity tests, as I cannot get a replacement somewhere

There may be micro breaks sensitive to some movements that are so difficult to measure.
