Re: Xerox Altalink 8045 Developer unit problem
J.F.Y.I. Xerox toner is very tricky!
I you are using "Generic" toner it will pull the developer instead of the toner to make Black. (Which will drain your Black developer quick.)
I would completely vacuum out all the old Black toner, then clean the developer assembly,
and replace the Black developer and see if that solves your problem.
Just my previous experience, for what it's worth.

Re: Xerox Altalink 8045 Developer unit problem
Hi guys,
I have an Altalink 8045 copier that print without black color.
I opened it and saw that developing unit have any developer on the magnet. so after cleaning the unit, I pour new developer on the unit but sadly after few prints i faced the same problem. Machine print without black color again and more importantly all of the black developer vanished and it went directly to dispose unit.
so does anybody have any idea what should I do?
what's the procedure?
thanks in advance everybody.
original developer? or compatible developer?Leave a comment:
