    wc-5645

have a fuser fault on this one. went with a new 672 fuser and did not work. i also brought an extra crum for the fuser and ng. copier and printing is unavailable too. checked my connections to the fuser but all good. don't have the sm for this one. i thought this fuser was plug and play. ohhhh and how can i tell this one there is no finisher installed on it (bfo-1). they want me to remove it. thanks t

xcopytech when i put the NEW fuser in it still gives me the message on the display ( fuser fault.) when i checked the faults there were alot of 10-315/320/340/350 codes. I got back to the office and put the fuser from their machine back into the 5645 we have at the shop and it works fine. The pdf is greatly appreciated, just what i needed thanks so much. any other weird stuff out there for fuser faults with this one. can i do a machine restore to defaults from copier routines or can i mess up other settings. i saw it in there but not to sure what else it will reset to default effecting the operation of the machine the way it is. what are the default settings at location 10, 08-282 through 08-295 supposed to be. T

if your machine work with another fuser, then your new fuser is faulty.

reove covers from fuser and check lamps, thermistors and thermo fuse.

If you still have fuser faults after changing two fuser then you most probably got a faulty LVPS, replace that.
Doing an ALL Copier NVM reinitlisation will not effect any print settings only tray settings and auditron settings, and screen settings will be effected.
Its worth doing before you change your lvps but in theory if you SWITCHED OF the machine and installed a brand new fuser this would have reseted the NVM i.e overtemp or undertemp fault.
