C45 fading toward the front; service manual

Machine makes good copies other than it's somewhat lighter towards the bottom of the page, as if drum was wearing out in the front. It shows the variance even when printing patterns/test prints, so it's not the optics. Drum looks OK.
Coronas? Laser? Developer unit/doctor blade? Didn't have much time but take a peek.
Also, need service/parts manual for this critter.

clean laser mirrors, you will need to remove scanner.

Drum cleaning and crown cleaning solves the problem.
It wont help

sometimes the transfer corotron off is not positioned parallel to drum for wear or dirt on the pivoting mechanism causing the problem you mention
