    Workcentre M24 Photoconductor message.

    Hi,

    I have a M24 and apear the message to change the black photoconductor. The machine have a good print quality.
    Can i reset the photoconductor message and continuous having the same photoconductor (PCU)????.

    You can only change/reset chip. There is no other way to do it.

          change the chip on the drum and be done with it

            Did you know, those machines perform a hard stop at 500,000 copies. Nothing related to photoconductors but once stopped, very expensive to re-start the normal operations. Really not that hard.

                  At 500K the ibt belt need to be replaced.

                        yes I know that, just reset hfsi counter and you'll have machine running again. But how jcontractor descibed I thought it was some dark force stopping machine.

                          I say only it is a notification to replace ibt belt at 500K !

                            It have a chip or need to be reset in HF Consumables area in the service mode?
