    Workcentre Pro 2xx/56xx/57xx

I am a recently new Xerox tech for a Global Core Company, and have done 3 years as a Ricoh Tech. I am trying to learn the xerox equipment and am having a lot of problems with the Sorcery line of product. I know the new 57xxF well help help with a lot of this because of the 3 roller feed system in the HCF. Does anyone have suggestions on how to stop multifeeding and jamming from the HCF(trays 3/4). I have tried all of the innavator kits as well as the rough tread feed rollers. I have many of these machines and that is the most common complaint. I have installed the new style reg clutch on many machines to eliminate the 08-151 codes.

Any help or info for stopping jams as well as procedure to reduce callbacks would be great.

I too work on these machines, and the tray feed system is unreliable. My best advise is to urge customers to use high quality paper. Lately our weather has been lost of rain. Now the papers are all absorbing the moisture, causing all kinds of jams, mis-feeds, and to a lesser extent, quality problems. Moist paper is evil.

Try turning the paper upside down in the tray.

    Good Luck.

Yeah, my biggest problem right now is an account that has bought over 30 of these that are pre-owned. They have hitting some 5675's with close to 80K a month and usually less than 10 Jams every 10K. They say that their Canon's had no jamming issues and are close to cancelling the contract. I did find a article today on searchlite that had me put some plastic strips doubled up next to the center rib. I tested 3 machines with these, 500 double side from both trays with out a multifeed or jam. I am hoping it works.
