    If you are printing paper above 100 gsm you can do away with the stripper fingers. Remove all the fingers and springs but leave the rest in place.

    I think your oiler assy is kaput . try replacing that .

    First of all I'd checked if there is no excess pressure on the heat roller from it's separators. Maybe mount point of the stripper fingers assembly somehow was damaged. Unfortunately, I don't have sm for this machine so can't say more specifically.

    No, not really....but i think the very first time we lost a heat roller, paper actually wrapped around it before it got damaged. Subsequent ones were simply getting torn out by the fingers without any paper wrapping incidence. But i guess this is a good place to check out. My question is how do i check the oiler system?
