    xerox 700 replace fuser

    good day, xerox 700, fuser was low, got message saying replace it, i did with what i am certain was an almost new fuser, got the same message saying replace fuser,. bought a brand new one just to make sure and still getting the replace fuser error, the machine is still working, but want to know if something else might be off of if theres a way to do a reset when i change the fuser, thanks

    The replace fuser message is reset by a thermal fuse inside the fuser. You may have to run a couple of hundred copies to get the fuser hot enough to blow the fuse. You can remove the top cover of the fuser and check the continuity of the fuse to make sure you have a good fuse.

        ran well over 1000 copies today and the message has not reset as yet
