    xerox wc pro 35 output problem

    paper 11x17 28lb color copy digital print on second side there is a very light gray background on (17 )long side (face to operator side ,),drum and fuser replaced recently
    any advice are welcome

    Please include a photo of the image quality problem. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

      11x17 first side print page 12-29 second side print page 30-11 all img264--267 are 8 1/2 x 11 inch
      img 267 left side page (page 12) img 264 right side page (page 29)
      img 266 left side page( page 30),img 265 right side page( page 11)
      may be we can not see the difference
      color copy digital 28 lb paper like matte coated smooth paper (dull coated) not qualify for the xerox wc pro 35 machine ???
      page 30 lower half are blank can see 1 inch band

        Does this background show up if you print an internal report or test pattern? If not, try removing the exposure glass and cleaning both sides and all the mirrors in the optics cavity. Also locate and clean the white reference strip in the optics.

          Remove drum module, fuser module and transfer & detack corotrons assy.
          Then remove the transfer- transport unit and clean it very well- do not forget to clean also the fan and rollers. After you put the unit back be sure it rise and fall smoothly and make electrical contact, on front side, with registration plate. Put all modules back and check again with prints
