Riso RN 2000 series drum color conversion

I know black drums typically cannot be converted to color drums but I'm wondering if there is any way to trick the machine. For instance, the nozzles on black and color ink tubes are different, but could color ink just be poured into empty black tubes? I am having trouble locating color drums but have been able to find a couple non working 2000 series machines that I could harvest black drums from.

Also if anyone has any RN color drums for sale I am interested.
