Hi.. A customer of mine has just imported a used jp5000 from UK. The prints he's getting using the scanner are overall black. I have cleaned the mirrors and checked & confirmed the voltages to the thermal head. The thermal head count is 17000 masters.
Is this information enough for you to respond?

Pls let me know what I shud be checking/performing or any advice at all. Thanks in advance...

Hi.. latest is that the overall darkness has been eliminated and now just 3 black bands [1.5 inches thick and about 1.5 inches apart] appear towards the center of the copy paper, when taking a copy using the scanner.
When taking test copies from memory the same black bands appear and the test pattern only appears on one side of the copy paper...

Hope this added information will help me get some suggestions from viewers. Meanwhile i'm still working on it.
