Can i use Riso Z-Type Color inside RA 4200?

Hi,

is it possible to use Z-Type Ink, fill it inside an RA Cartridge and then use it in my RA 4200?
Or is there a difference in the mixture of the ink that will destroy my machine?

ink composition does vary from model to model to accomodate the differences in ink delivery systems. that said, the z type ink is formulated to flow through a small hole from the cartridge to the pump and ra ink flows through a much larger hole. ink pump on the ra is stronger and the drum screens are not as fine those on the rz/ez machines - im quite sure the ra will pump the z-type ink but you may have it slung throughout the interior of your machine as its a lighter weight product - rn ink is very similar to ra/gr/fr ink. good luck
