Oh, OK. If we ever cross paths I'll buy you a cup of coffee if you want. You still might want to check the area between the feed unit and the next set of rollers to make sure the guides aren't bent or something.
Also, see if the rollers that are next in the paper path from the feed unit but before the drum are being driven correctly. As I have no idea how that works on a Ricoh duplicator, it is probably best to wait for someone who knows that to tell you what to do next there though.
Good luck!Leave a comment:

Nice ice thought but it does allow a page through at times
I don't work on Ricoh duplicators, but if it was legal I'd bet you a standard cup of average coffee that there is something stuck in the paper path between the feed unit and the next set of rollers.
I have found that a really bright flashlight and a stiff piece of paper are helpful when dealing with that sort of issue.
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to recharge my really bright flashlight.Leave a comment:

HQ7000 Accordian Jam When Feed In
Okay, machine was working fine, then client did not use for a month and now when it feeds in it will accordian jam at entrance just past main feed in rollers. Run all tests in service mode and seems fine, just still jams.
Any thoughts?
