KonicaMinolta BizC550 Fax forward to folder/email


Hi,

I have been reading C550 manuals and cannot find if Fax Forwarding to a folder or email address is possible on this model.
I also like to forward fax reports /journals to an email address.

Your help is much appreciated!

It is listed in detail in the C550 User's Guide FK-502 Fax Operations.

to forward to a folder/email is possible just need the destination set as a one touch.

As to the fax reports I am not sure of that.

Hi Guys, I have a problem with a Bizhub c353 to forwarding faxes to a folder. I already a folder and the process to do this is:

1. login in to admin. mode (Password 12345678)
2. fax settings
3. function setting
4. rx data operation
5. forward tx setting (turn on)

But I don't know why in my client machine is not appears forward tx setting.
Appreciate any tips on this problem.

Check Step 4 - you are looking to forward TX settings, not rx.

Forward TX Settings is the correct function you are looking for when trying to forward incoming faxes to a folder or email destination.

The best way to set this up is to create a One-Touch destination which you can then try sending a scan through to make sure that the details are correct. You can then use the following from the machine (sorry, I can only remember off the top of my head for the machine and not the web interface):

1. Utility
2. Administrator Settings
3. Fax Settings
4. Function Settings
5. Forward TX Settings
6. Enable
7. Select from Address Book
8. Select the One-Touch
9. Ok and Close once finished

Hi guys, I went yesterday to my client to try to forwarding faxes to a folder. I followed all the instructions, I go to service mode:
1. Utility
2. Administrator Settings
3. Fax Settings
4. Function Settings

But I stop here because the machine don't show Forward TX Settings (It's missing)

I don't if I missed something on the configuration, but I never had this problem before.

Sounds to me that you may need to initialize the fax and make sure that the correct regional settings for the fax are set.

Go and find a copy of the installation guide for the fax kit which has the steps for initializing the card.
