Is it a 110v machine? If not, you've got more problems.

I don't what kind of "universal power adapter" you've got ... but did you really think that a 230vac 50Hz printer could work on 120vac 60Hz? Half of the voltage?

This isn't an incandescent light bulb. It's got a lot more complex operations going on inside. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

You mean I got it right? Wow! I'm impressed with myself. But not to worry, I'm not going into the copier repair business.

            Absolutely. Don't underestimate yourself. =^..^=

pcs: ... and don't try connecting it to a 220 volt US outlet either. In Europe it's 230vac 50 Hz single phase. In the US it's 220vac 60 Hz two phase. If you want to think of the alternating current as sine waves, the European one is a single waveform that peaks at 230 volts, and the US one is two separate waveforms that peak at 120 volts. Suffice it to say that it's not the same. =^..^=
