might be a defective replacement drum. i would try another one? i sure hope it's a drum from brother. best well to tell, is the word brother stamped into the plastic?

I did replace drum unit and perform the reset procedure but does not work.

Can anyone advised if there is a way to bypass the drum error for the brother hl2270? I performed the drum reset procedure but does not work.

Maybe change drum, reset on dead drum unit doesn't do any good.
