Re: Experience Brother HL 6300 broken Fuser
+1 for blaming the customer, torn apart fuser sleeves are not typical. Perhaps you can find evidence (scatches across running direction) after inspection.

Re: Experience Brother HL 6300 broken Fuser
With little use like this, it is something caused by the customer, such as a staple or other object that they may have used to remove paper stuck in the fuser.
Even if he used damp paper and caused jams, it wouldn't damage the fuser that quickly unless, as I said above, they used an object to remove the paper or removed it the wrong way.Leave a comment:

Paper may be fed incorrectly into the fuser, gradually causing it to become damagedLeave a comment:

Thank you.
Parts of the black foil are missing, are torn off.Leave a comment:

Re: Experience Brother HL 6300 broken Fuser
maybe you should describe more when you say it is broken. is it just not working properly? is something actually broken inside the fuser? or is there an error message/ code? i agree with everyone else. i would bet the issue isn't the fuser. but more details might help.Leave a comment:

Re: Experience Brother HL 6300 broken Fuser
I would see what toner/drum they're using--we've only had one fuser go bad and it was on a used machine I picked up for parts that was using junk stuff for the toner and drum.Leave a comment:

We have hundreds of this style engine and from my experience it's impossible same printer to have TWO failed fusers just under 5k without customers doing some damage. Blame them not printer.Leave a comment:

Experience Brother HL 6300 broken Fuser
Hello,
we have a customer who prints about 2000 pages per year with this printer.
Now the fuser unit is broken the second time in this printer.
First at about 2000 pages then now again at about 4500 pages.
Every time the black foil was torn apart.
Has anyone experience what can cause this except from staples or
if the customer damages the fuser mechanically with scissors etc.
Very mysterious and I don't believe the customer does something wrong.
Thanks
