    Printing problems with Brother mfc-934ocdw

Hello all. My MFC-9340CDW printer just started printing lines and bars, horizontal and vertical. The lines appear to be yellow (see attachments) Never had an issue with it before. The ink in it had been working fine til now. I might not get all the terminology right here: I took the 4 ink cartridges out and wiped the rollers down with alcohol swabs. I also slid the green tab for the Corona wire back and forth several times. Didn't help.

If any of yall can walk me through this, I'd appreciate it. I'm not real familiar with the workings of these Brother printers. I've attached 4 images. Two are the same image? With one of them showing how it shoukd look and the other is a scan of the print out. The third image is a scan of a printed dot report which also has lines...and the fourth image is an old black and white photo I scanned. The lines and bars are represented in the last three images. Actually, two of my images wouldn't upload. You don't need them though. The two attachments show the lines.

    Thanks, in advance. 02.jpg03.jpg

Looks like an empty yellow toner. Try new one. By cleaning with alcohol developing rollers you may damage them.

Are you using non-original toner? Probably yes and perhaps almost running out. If you see the toner roller with missing parts, try inserting a sheet of fine emery paper between the roller and the blade with the part to be "scratched" towards the blade and pass it along the entire length several times, rotating the roller by hand you will notice improvements. The best and shortest way is to replace them.
