Brother MFC 7220 leaving ghost images

have a Brother MFC 7220 that is leaving ghost images of whats being copied or from fax's being received. The hot roller and press roller don't have any toner residue on them so don't believe coming from them. Also cleaned mirrors and glass available to clean. The drum does seem to have some toner residue left on it. The account has to get refurbished drums, not allowed to order new, could this be the problem, or is there something else i could pursue as the problem.

As likelyhoods go, it's either the fuser of drum cleaning. What intervals does the image repeat at? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I would bet on the drum especially if they are generic/refurbs.

This is likely going to be a drum or toner issue.

Probably - just check the space between the ghostings and take a look at the service manual where you can find the diameters of the fuser/toner/drum - if you don't have the manual you can ask in this topic, I can take a look then..
