    HL-5250DN no indicator lights

Unit appears to be dead. When you turn it on nothing happens but you can hear a faint whine sound. The service manual states there are 2 fuses to look at but does not show their location, before you replace one of the power supply boards? Is this a common problem with this machine (and an easy fix) or am I just beating a dead horse?

Thank you for your time and effort in this matter.

I found them!!!!! Should of taken a few more screws off! LOL Any suggestions on this machine. Fuses test good so it looks like the power supply board.

I didn't think it was worth it. We've got a corpse in the graveyard (HL-42??). =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

That's what I'm thinking but I'll do a couple of voltage checks on Monday and then give them the bad news.

Thanks and have a great weekend.
