shut down machine ; hold down 1. and 9. power up . that starts a scan disk utility. you will see square boxes falling on display and stacking accross screen. allow to run untill screen is full this process takes about 60 minutes may bring machine arround or may not . you can allso run disk check in service mode .this may bring machine around or may not . your best bet is to format and flash using service support tool. this may bring the machine around or may not then your only option is to replace hard drive, format, flash.

scan disk utillity and hd check are built into the image runner and do not require service support tool to run

Hey ,
e 602 - 000-..... occurs when there is a problem with hard disk system
try this to scan the hard disk
1)hold on 1 and 9 (from copier key) board then switch on the copier
2)wait till all screen be white its can even take one hour or more,,,
3)when download mode appear on the screen switch off then put on the copier.
go do it don't wait.

try to go *28* then go to function then system then press hd check.wait until checking is finish.it takes more than an hour.if these dosn't work thet is the time u need to have sst.
