    canon ir 105 wrapped cleaning web

    have problem with canon ir 105.
    put new cleaning web and after some time web is wrapped around fixing roller.
    again change web made about 2000 test prints and everytjing was ok.
    after some time again web is wrapped around fixing roller.
    web solenoid is ok and web sensors are ok.

    its the gears on the web take up. they strip after time. pay close attention taking it apart it can be a little trickey if you have never done it.

      it is not problem with gears.
      machine work good for some time, maybe even for 50.000 copies, and then without any good reason, web is wrapped around fixing roll.

        Dont mean to tell you suck eggs mate, are using the right web? If your using PPC its a 366 not a 289/290, Other than that use a geniune Canon Upper Roller, only had fuser wrap with wrong web has been fitted.
        Oh...... I can't copy at the moment then ? !!!!!!

          Also check for flat spots on sponge roller(cleaning roller)

            Customer may be clearing jams by pulling paper back towards vac transport(causes slack in web) Get them to wind fuser knob to move paper forward. Fix the jamming
