imagepass M2

Hi to you all ! and Happy new Year!

i don't know if i would be lucky this time. i have 2 imagepass M2 doing the same thing. i just bought
them. the problem is when the imagepass is connected with the copier the screen display "connection established" but i can't access the run setup cause the unit doesn't get to the idle state. i really don't know how to resolve that issue so if you have the answer tell
me i would appreciate.

Did you try reloading firmware?

yeah

yes i have tried to reload the software but still the same screen. i have replaced the crossover cable between the copier and the image pass, also i have tried another image pass from another machine, still the same. this one is a funny one ????

Get the user software discs...ran into this problem..after installing system software on RIP you need to install user software on RIP

found it !!!

i found it the problem was the little connector board, not seated firmly in the motherboard

Loose on both RIPs...wow...as long as it works now
