no properties H1 controller on CLC5151

Strange problem? We updated a Canon CLC5151 H1 controller latest version included the machine firmware.
After setup the controller, it is impossible to change the properties in CWS on the Pc (XP Prof all up to date (sp3 etc.))of the customer. When connecting our servicelaptop (XP prof, english) with exact the same versions it works fine.
Installed CWS on a "fresh" pc (XP home up to date), the same problems.
changed the cabels, used a cross cable, nothing helped.
check the Java versions (used those on the cd/dvd).
We setup many systems with al kinds of OS, languages and versions with no problems. Setup the controller using US english and also UK english!

Somebody any ideas??

And after all we had such problem. With one printer RIP worked normally, and with another - precisely same - has refused. Versions of a software, a configuration of devices were identical. In a word, two identical devices. But about one all worked, and with another - is not present. And it was necessary to group system for the customer...
