irc3200 user and password clear

customer recieved machine from corporate office that shut down, problem is user codes were used. Is there a way to clear them. thanks

you need to go into service mode *28* then go to your clear file in functions clrpswd. hilite enter go you can also clr everything mcon. you need 2 be a tech to do this. jp

IMO- not if you tell him how to get into service mode. Since he indicates he is a tech - I just do the menus as he should know the code. Keeps users from getting into areas they do not need to be.

agree with costd, you should already be familiar with the canon codes
