    Hi, colleagues.
    Forgive me my English.The ambush was drawn: NAVI (v2.31) does not wish to incorporate to the device (iR4570). After button pressing "Start Connection" connection begins and after a while there is a message "The attempt to connect to the device has failed".
    Some initial data:
    - The sequence of installation of the program is executed precisely on an available manual;
    - It is registered iR4570_Core Data Pack without any errors;
    - IP-addresses (device & PC) correct;
    - cross-cable - correct.
    Prompt, please, in what there can be a problem? What it is - bugs NAVI, OS?
    And still a question, whether it is possible to use iR4570_Core Data Pack for iR3035?

    Your english needs no forgiveness. Have you tried to ping the copier across this connection? That would establish whether you have a comm error or a software issue. Does the 3035 come ready? The copier system software would need to fully load to enable this communication to take place. Also there is kind of a blank period after booting up the copier while you have to wait for the ethernet connection on the copier to come ready, (ping establishes when it is awakened). The 3035 seems to be kind of an orphan, I have no books for it, so I use my service manual for the 4570 series when I need info on it, and if I need parts that are particular to the 3035, (boards and such), I go online at Canon to look them up there. Not much help here I am sure, but something to get the conversation started.

      Thanks for the answer. It is always pleasant to feel support and to learn something brand new.
      The sequence of actions at connection was maintained strictly on a manual. Yes, ping OK.
      This is absolutely new device. At installation the upgrade of OS with v25.02 to v30.02 has been done. Firmware has been established completely: boot, sys, lang. rui, meap (the rest was not required - the device is used only as copier).
      The blank period was maintained - this moment to me is clear.
      Similar, that at me a bug in NAVI. And here it is interesting, in options of network connection, anything cannot be? I am not the expert in networks - I can miss something in this sense.

      PS For a series iR3025/ХХ exists separate Parts Catalog. Service Manual and another - from iR2270 series.
      PSS It is happy with that I can be understood. I will open a small secret - in dialogue at forums I use the program translator. And it is a thing without soul...

        To connect NAVI to the copiers that support connection, you must boot the copier into fixed IP mode, the laptop must be in the same range and you need to go into service mode and set both cmd and sts to 1. If you have NAVI the manual should be included, read the steps in there and that will guide you through it.

              Прочел я документацию, еще до того, как тему поднял.
              Все ответы крутятся вокруг одного и того же (а как иначе?) - сделано это все.
