Is Faxing Possible Without the Universal Scan Kit on IRC3200 ??

Hi all,

Is faxing possible on machines that do not have the universal scan kit ap1 installed? I'm trying to install a fax board on a machine that does not have the universal scan kit involved and i'm unable to do faxing. It does detect the fax board and the LCD shows the fax option but when i try to fax, there's no action. A slight hang occurs and nothing happens. Store in user inbox is not possible as well. is this due to the absence of the universal scan kit ap1 not being installed?

Anyone has a solution to this or may know the cause of the fault. please do kindly share your experiences.

The Resolution Switching Board-A1 PCB must be installed, unfortunately, I do not know whether to buy this card now.
