SCREWTAPE....How are you doing? Fixing rebuilt less than 20k ago.And yes, it will shut down on it own and show no error codes.Have looked for the obvious problems including drawer connectors and fixing connectors. Now looking to DCon and possibly PS.Comment

Those areas are a good way to start.Comment

I had a 7086 that started getting 733 and 732 codes and I upgraded to V2. Seemed to work then one week later started shutting down after about 1500/2000 pages. The machine just went dead and only the green power light was lit on the display. You would have to shut down the machine and let it sit for a while to get it back up. Replaced the dc controller, and main controller didn't fix it. It turned out to be the harness for the fuser. One of the wires that went to a sensor below the fuser had been dragging on a shaft. Part number for that harness is: FM2-5098-000Comment

Fuser recently rebuilt? Make sure the plastic collars/bushings are not installed backwards on the upper fuser roll...if the one is reversed the bearing rubs on the end...you will see aluminun shavings. I've had the cleaning blade vibration motors cause this problem also. If other stuff doesn't fix it unplug the motorsComment

We also had this caused by the vibration motor wires being pinched. 733 was first then total shut down with only the green light. After clearing the pinch we had to unplug the machine again to reset it.Is the glass half full or half empty? I say neither. The glass is obviously full, full of potential. The potential to hold more water or the potential to quench a thirst. Life is all about how you see it.Comment

Take a good look at the upper fuser roll collars also. Crack the fuser open and make sure they are not reversed...the reason i say this is because you said fuser recently rebuilt..fuser bias can short from bearing rubbing and chewing aluminum from upper fuser roll.Comment
