IR 5000 A3 duplex

Hi,

Have problem whane copy and print A3 paper in duplex.
On second half of A3 page, get blank band and paper is litle curl on that place.
One side copy and print are OK.
A4 duplex is OK.
Looks like that paper stop for the moment at transfer and then get paper curl and no image on that place.

Sounds like you have a small fold in the paper rather than curl.I would start checking clutches.It must be hesitating somewhere in the duplex or registration area.

But what is strange to me is that A4 duplex work fine and A3 simplex also.

Just one of those strange inexplicable surprises that come up from time to time I guess.

With the length of the A3 versus the A4, the reg clutch and brake are engaged more and more likely to stick.Best bet might be to go ahead and replace both of them.
