Canon ir-5070 Waste Toner Full Message

We have a Canon ir-5070 displaying "Waste Toner is Full" message. We have emptied the waster toner container & I have tried clearing the message in Service Mode without success.

Any info on how to clear this would be appreciated.

There's probably a build up of hardened toner in the waste toner pipe and resistance on the feedscrew inside the pipe.

Try replacing the waste tank instead of just dumping out the waste toner.

yup you yave to clear waste toner counter under service mode level 1 in counters.

hi..i advice you to check the sensor of the waste toner bottle..clean it or replace it as necessary ...good luck
