Good day! I have an iradv 5045 that is asking for mag toner. I've updated firm ware but the message still appears. Has anybody else had issues with this? Thanks in advance!

The first models of the ADV 50xx series had problems with the toner hopper unit - but it should have been fixed before the machines went in to production.
Is this one of the first machines produced?Even a broken clock is right twice a day. -

No i haven't sorry.
Not sure what the problem with the first hopper units was either..
As i can see in my PC the part number for the production hopper is FM3-5981-000 but can not verify this.

Did you open the toner port from the screen or stick a screwdriver to release the catch on the toner door. (*)
You can display a switch to open the toner cover service mode level2 / copier / option / body / T-CRG SW. If you then go to additional functions / adjustment maintenance / change toner.

They also want the toner cartridges shaken a bit before loading, I set up a 5030 today that did not like the toner I put in till I took them back out of the copier and shook them back and forth, to loosen up the toner I suppose.
