    Place letter size paper in the entry tray, go into service mode, FEEDER>FUNCTION>TRY-LTR, and press O.K.

    Then place paper guides in LTR-R position in feeder, go into service mode, FEEDER>FUNCTION>TRY-LTRR, and press O.K.

    The items are now set...

      You can also check and make sure that your original detection sensors are set up in service mode.

      Level 2/ Copier/ Option/ Body SENS-CNF = 1

      SENS-CNF =0 (default) : AB Type Document Sensor Placement
      SENS-CNF = 1 : Inch Type Document Sensor Placement

            those DF settings for FLSC need to be adjusted in LEVEL 2 under Copier/ Option/ Body

            in the service mode - COPIER>OPTION>BODY> CONFIG setting
            you will see
            XX= COUNTRY
            YY= LANGUAGE
            ZZ= MANUFACTURE
            AA=PAPER SIZE SYSTEM/ scroll through n' switch this setting for your default paper size

            look for COPIER>OPTION>BODY>SCANSLCT- in some iR's it is Level 2
            set it to 1 (Scan area is determined by paper size) if it set to 0=(Scan area is determined by document detection
            )

            while in there u will see >These are DF Settings to be changed
