Differences Between the Old (A1) and New (A2) Main Controller PCBs:old (A1) and new (A2) Main Controller PCBs can be distinguished by the number of the Boot ROM slots. The old Main Controller has two Boot ROM slots (Boot ROM is installed vertically), while the new Main Controller has only one slot (Boot ROM lies flat).The memory DIMMs are not interchangeable. The memory from the old Main Controller PCB cannot be used on the new Main Controller PCB.Exclusive System Software, Boot ROM, RUI, and Hard Drive Format files are used for the old and new (not interchangeable).registration system name for the firmware is 'iR5000d' when using the Service Support Tool for the new.ID label for the system name (iR5000d) of the firmware is attached to the upper right of the service log found behind the front cover.
