I turn on the FIERY ON and after I see this JUST LOAWDING...

I want reset the system but I dont have the software and the service manual

this FIERY is same as Z40e/Z20e/PS-NX40/20

“Loading...” hangs on
the Control Panel.

Prob Cause:

ColorPASS system software
is corrupted or not
installed on the hard
disk drive.
Action to try:
Restore the system software backup using the
Restore Backup function from the Service
menu.
• If the problem persists, install system software
from the CD.

Prob Cause:
Cable connections to
the HDD are loose or
faulty.

Action to try:
• Check cable connections to the HDD.
• If the problem persists, you may need to replace
the HDD cable or the HDD.



or try and do a clear server, on Fiery menu buttons
or u better re load the Fiery software

To format the hard drive without the system software for the device is a no-win proposition. At this point you have to secure the software for the device, or all you have is an over sized doorstop...

why ? if u did format without a CD of the software ??
i did not post for u to format the HDD/
hope u just cleared the server/ or tried to Restore Backup function from the Server

that software is difficult to obtain/ hope u know someone who has it/ if not, u better call CANON or DANKA sales dept or post for it


like mrfixit posted/ u now have a useless piece of hardware !!!!

that is not the FIRMWARE u need >that link is for those APPS / & print drivers

U need the NX 40 system software FIRMWARE/ call a DANKA sales rep. in your area/ tell them u need the nx 40 system software
