need help on a canon dr7080c scanner

    need help on a canon dr7080c scanner

    i know its not a copier but i was asked to install a stamp into the doc feeder which included the solanoide ,loom and stamp,easy i thought but the option to stamp is still greyed out on the scanner driver .does any one know how to get into the service mode so i can switch it on

    Enter the service mode and enable "Feeder>OPTION>STAMP-SW"
    The service mode of the DR-7080C can be executed by installing the service mode software on the computer for service.
    The service mode software is located in the setup disk provided with the DR-7080C.
    Experience is the best adviser!

        cheers chaps, grabbed the disk today from the customer and im just installing it.

            There is also something called QumaTool.exe for the Canon Scanners which is very useful. Bit like a service utility. Lets you turn on and off sensors and things for the Canon Scanners that don't have a display. The password for this is "market".
