    Ir 5570/6570

    Hi All,

    After some help please!

I have a 5570 with 0A08 power on failure but last jam code is 0210 stationary jam at ps35. But no paper present or nicks on sensor. Machine saying open frond door and clear paper jam! I have checked Unit 1 Block connector and duplex , no bits of paper etc..

    Thanks,

    Shazza

Refit the arm that is attached to the plunger of Reversing Flapper Solenoid SL8.

        Hi,

        Thanks for replies.

Refit the arm that is attached to the plunger of Reversing Flapper Solenoid SL8. That is ok and solenoid is fine.

Sensor is in one piece , trying to find I/O codes for that sensor in case it is u/s

        Cheers,
        Shazza

          Hi all.

Found the fault eventually!! See diagram attached faulty Photo sensor detecting paper jam but said it was "0A08 power on failure but last jam code is 0210 stationary jam at ps35." on machine?

          Thanks,

          Shazza

that is a different location & different sensor from those jam codes/ what did u find at your posted pdf location (paper -stuck arm)

how can the machine miss read & be so far off location

Make's sense. The actual jam was the 0210 stationary jam at ps35, fautly sensor or as teckat mention paper stuck. Everytime the machine was booted up ,0A08, power up jam. Simple,
              no brainer.

                      Hi,

Yep that ps35 but jam was in Duplex unit underneath white idler rollers.

                      Cheers,

                      Aron

that underneath stuck paper was preventing ps35 actuator from normal position

I was wondering where you guys were going....0A08 is the left deck pull-off sensor,ps33,at power up.The delivery jam is ancient history...they had a delivery jam, opened left paper deck to find jam "somewhere"...tore paper being fed from left deck...cleared delivery jam...presto!0A08
