To verify the Main Controller Firmware:
Enter Service Mode, Press Additional Functions, 2 and 8 simultaneously, then Additional Functions again.
    Press Copier, then Version.
The PS/PCL must have a version number, not dashes (---). If not, the main controller (MN-CONT) must be flashed up accordingly. (Make sure you have the Network Printer Kit installed. Verify by looking at the Boot ROM version. It should have an N designation after the version.)

. If you have the correct version of System Software you most likely have the Dept. ID feature turned on. On the imageRUNNER the Dept. ID feature is for walk up copying and for network printing, unlike the Fiery family of imageRUNNERs that use the Dept ID for walk up copying only. The print job needs to be sent along with a Dept. ID and, if set, a password in order to released to print. This is done in the driver under the Device Settings tab .
If you cannot print and the jobs are stuck in queue on the PC or the server, check the following settings:
Verify that the protocol (LPD, RAW, SMB, etc) being used to print from the computers is enabled in Additional Functions on the copier.
Make sure Address Range Settings or Receiving MAC Address Settings are turned off or configured correctly.

***The above settings are located in Additional Functions>System Settings>Network Settings>TCP/IP Settings.

      What driver are you using?
Is the job hitting the machine ?
      Check system monitor>print tab

I had this same problem and it turns out there was a password for each individual user/computer attached to the copier/network.

Try posting some of the infomation from the P-print info like, MN-CON version, Bootrom version and PS/PCL version.
We can then determine what your issue may be.
