    iR2570Ci problem. E020-01a2. Should I replace Y dev. unit?

    Hello,
now i have a new problem with the Canon IR2570Ci Copier/printer
The copier says that i have to install a new yellow toner catridge.
Ok, i followed the replacement menu and changed the cartridge with a new one... but this machine give me the same error again: "install a new one toner cartridge", the yellow one of course.
I made the same procedure again with the same, new cartridge. NG result. I tried to remove a Y developing unit and cleaned a unit's contact. ATR sensor and shutter also were cleaned. After installing the unit back to the copier and yellow toner inserting..... TADA! copier show that yellow toner is full. Unfortunately after few copies was made the mashine gave me an error on the UI screen E0000020-01a2. According to the SM this error means that problem is In ATR control, SGNL is 960 or more. What does that mean and what I should do next ???? There is copy/print quality problem too, the broad yellow stripe (about 3" wide) is present on the copies.

Did you clean the sensor above the drum.. this machine uses patch images it forms on the drum to detect the presence/absence of toner.

When you took the yellow developer out was there a even amount of dev/toner across the magnetic roller?

Your yellow developer could be shot. Try replacing it.

I didn't clean the sensor above the drum. I will do it next time I visit the custimer. Yes, the developer/toner amount was across the magnetic roll. I can't say sometning about the density of toner/dev across the mag roll because it can't be detected visually.

Is possible to order a yellow developing material separatelly from developing assembly ? 30000 copies before new developing assy was replaced, the 020-01A2 after that gone. Now, the same error. What guys you will suggest for me? The ARM sensor was cleaned and sensor above the drum unit cleaned too.
