hello i have one ir4600 i have a big prob with it now
the machine not work, when i power on the machine juste a led green on and the machine not work no think hapned just led green only pleza urgent how to slove this prob

does printer warm up ??
green light is good/ did u check the LCD Display contrast button

can u send prints to print out ??

I am not sure what model you are dealing with, ir4600 is not used here in the U.S., but the symptoms sound to me to be caused by either a bad main controller, or the all night power supply. The all night power supply provides 3.3 volts to the main controller, and if this signal is missing, you have the symptoms you have described. I just fought an iR3245 with similar symptom, and I did have the 3.3 volts, so I replaced the main controller and resolved my customers problem...

why don't u contact tech who worked on printer/ only that person knows what they did to your HDD

I agree with Teckat, and the one thing to take away from that advice is Canon trained , even if I don't know the answer, as a certified Canon tech, I can contact Canon directly for advice on any problem. That is the true value in being Canon trained.

thanks for all when my machine is broken i send his to a good tech he tray with an other hdd forme the same model ir 4600 after this the ohter machine has broken to with the sam prob we have the firmware of this machien on CD but he dont khnow how to updut HDD he make only hardware solution
