    IR 2116J control Panel

I have IR 2116J control Panel jamming... It cannot be reset by disconnect and reconnect the cables of
the counter control PCB and Main control PCB. Do anyone have any ideas how to solve the problem?

    Thanks in advance.

      Control Panel Lockup

display shows normally but the buttons are non-responsive.
problem can be caused by a faulty Fax Panel PCB. To determine if this is the problem, the optional Fax Panel can be disconnected by unplugging the flat cable (highlighted below in red) between it and the Operation Panel PCB. The machine should work normally with this cable removed.

Or >>> if the start button will lock up all buttons and functions of the touch screen.
      Replace the IP Board

Thanks for Mr. Teckat reply. You are right to say that the display shows normally but the buttons are non-responsive. This machine is used for
copying only, not connected to computer and fax. I will try to check again.

          O, I see now!

All you had to say was the key pad is not working!
Or the key pad is non-responsive!

          D'oh!

no harm was intended, we understand most of the FORUM posters are from outside the US, it is sometimes difficult for any person including me to fully explain an issue , that is sight unseen , keep up the posting, answers eventually are found to help

Without replace any parts, the copier has fixed and it can operates normally this morning after two days switch off. It could be caused by high
humidity. The client said before it broke down, there was heavy rain downfall during that night and yet the office is in the wooden house.
Anyway, thanks for both of you replied.
