[Jamming] Image Runner Advance 5030, Inner Finisher-A1

New installation of Inner Finisher-A1, results in JAM messege "Remove paper from output tray". Directly when you try to copy, without any attempt to move from paper cassette.

    Proposed solution are greatly appreciated.

When you fit the buffer pass unit I think you may have to remove a paper full sensor arm for the internal delivery tray. It would be where the paper would normally output to if you didnt have the finisher.

Its no buffer pass unit whith Inner Finisher-A1 installation, and both sensor flags removed according to installation manual.

you are correct DIMM. You say that it shows a jam without pushing any paper through. What is the jam code? There could be a number of different solutions to your problem and this will help narrow it down.
Also does the machine go through initial rotation and come to ready at all? or does it show a jam after it boots up?

re-aligned the finisher tray was so that it is straight and level/ common issue on new installs

also make sure to have at least v37.02 which has updated Finisher software v8.02 for such issues.
and a new style Gripper Assmbly=4Y3-0021-000

I have changed Gripper Assmbly = 4Y3-0021 and adjusted trade finishers, but not update to v37.02 and finisher software v8.02 yet.
But it will be next. Should also check out the finishers tray again.

I have seen this as well, but the stapler out of track will produce an E532 error code, not the "remove paper" message. I am not sure how they get out of place, unless an "operator" decides to put their hand in that area???

I have replaced the broken Inner Finisher-A1. With a new one that works.

The upgrade to v8.02 and v37.02, did not help against this problem this time. Finisher did not start properly if it is to go down at boot, and then up to the home position as the new did. (too little experience of them yet).
JAM from start of printer with defect finisher was 1400, 1C20, 1C40, 1C75

Thanks for all answers. I appreciate that.

I would try a different finisher controller for starters.
Had issues with the 1c40 jam code a while back but also would get an error code of E540. replaced S14 - WG8-5836-000 to resolve the issue.

yes mrfixit51 i faced this problem in three machines and my thinking this wrong from installation man
but i think this general problem ,i solved it by removing the front cover finisher and return tha stapler unit from
the wrong path to the right posation but this not logic ,can any body tell me who to solve this problem by firmware or hardware
                            thank to all
