When those drum units go bad they will do just that.

Either the developer has lost its charge and can't keep toner in the unit anymore, or more likely the waste toner is full and it is spewing on every copy. They are only rated for 32K(?) so they waste toner will probably only hold 33k worth of waste toner.

                for a GLASS ISSUE ONLY>>>>>
check the ribbon cabling from the Reader Controller to the Interface PCB for any damage or a lose connection ( J202 / J203 ). If the ribbon cabling checks out fine suspect a faulty Interface PCB Assembly

Your right teckat. That is off the glass.

Copy suhail, try doing a CCD adjust with the feeder or platen cover down when you perform this adjustment.

You can also place ten sheets of the brightest paper you have over the glass then perform the CCD adjust.

Also check and clean your white plate.

                  Service mode, Copier>Function>CCD-ADJ>OK.

It should say OK when finish.

If it says NG!, Then two things it could be. The lamp or the Charge couple device, AKA CCD Unit.

This is better information. If a test print is good and it only comes from copying off the glass then I'd say your magenta drum probably isn't at fault.
I think Screwtape hit the nail on the head with the CCD adjust, just follow his instructions.
