Hard to believe that the arrow indicates direction of travel of paper. Is this blue print image in your example a form they are using? I would love to see a test print 31, which would show alignment of the 4 laser's. If the paper travel indication is wrong, I would suspect an ITB cleaning issue...
"Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"
31 looks fine,,, I am still wondering if the blue is printed on the advance box, or is the blue print from a pre-printed form placed into the copier...

Strip in print only.
The black laser unit was replaced and the data entered.
DC controller has been cleared and partly filled with new software.
The stripes occur only sporadically and only in print.
When copy is all ok.
The black laser unit was replaced. The problem persists.
I believe this model is similar to the iR 5185> When replacing the laser unit, enter the values indicated in the label attached
on the upper surface of the new laser unit
Controlling the Laser Activation Timing.
laser beams are turned on/off by the combination of control signals from the DC controller PCB 2
following factors can displace images of individual colors:
- displacement of the photosensitive drum caused by replacement of the drum unit/toner container
- displacement in sub scanning direction
- displacement of laser path caused by replacement of laser unit
- displacement/angle in main scanning direction
- displacement in laser path length caused by changes in temperature inside machine
- variation in magnification
have u swapped the Laser in question to see if issue follows it / have u made single color grid printouts ??
**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**

I will work off on Monday the list. DC Conroller and drum kit, I will replace it.
