    IR3300i *2&8* no responding? IR3570 firmware needed

    Hi,

    Is there a way to work around this *2&8* to enter the service mode? I tried so many times, but just could not get into it to check the firmware version.
    Also, I need the latest IR3570 firmware. May someone please help me? Thank you very much.

    Try *1&7* , some models had it where you could set it for two different access codes.

      Make sure u are using correct *asterisk key/ shown below red line in pick/click on pic/
      also check for a stuck or broken key(button)- many hit the star key by mistake

                  u can try *4 & 9 * to get in.

                  if you can get in _hit the *2 key to enter Level 2
                  then go to COPIER>OPTION>BODY _ SVMD-ENT in there you will see if someone switched it >
                  change it back if u want/ select either 0 or 1 setting

                  SVMD-ENT = Setting Values 0:= [2] and [8]
                  1:= [4] and [9]

                  good luck

                    I actually posted this before but I deleted it.

                    I don't think the 3300i has this feature.

                    Didn't it start with the 70 series.

                        Could not remember if this one had that feature either. And could not remember if ti ws 1&7 or 4&9. The only time I ever try and access it is when the 2&8 does not work because someone changed it tying to prevent a end user from gaining access.

                          Thank you very much for all of you kindly support. I am facing two copiers, IR3300, and IR3300i, refusing *2&8* to the service mode. *1&7* and *4&9*, tried with no luck. I will replace ROMs and HDDs for these two to see if they comply.

                            You must try harder.

                            As you try hitting the keys, and if it does not respond, hit the reset button and try again.

                            Forget about 1&7 & 4&9.

                              forget about service mode
                              for now
                              try this > forget about *asterisk key for now / turn off main switch> hold down the 1 and 7 key> keep holding both numbers>turn on main switch,while still holding them down> do not let go until u see the main screen and a FIX -IP in top corner of control panel/ then
                              in
                              common settings>Report Settings> print out a User Data List> check
                              if your iR3300 System Software and Language Versions match up/ it can cause control panel issues
                              try and get in service mode now- if u can>COPIER>FUNCTION>SYSTEM>DOWNLOAD and push [OK].
                              Hook up n' Start up SST and re-load 3300i Firmware ALL

                              After downloading, the main power switch must be turned OFF/ON and then
                              the main body must be re-booted. The system software saved in the temporary storage space of the HDD is written in the system area and the flash ROM. The
                              machine starts with the downloaded system software by turning OFF/ON the main power switch.
