    ir3300 flash dimm

    When i download the system software to my ir3300 , sadenly the power turn off from the source ,

    Then after the power return back tried to power on the copier i found the lcd secreen black i know that the dimm damaged .

    My question is there any way to prepair it becouse here in my country is so difficult to find a new flash dimm so in this case my copier will never work again .

    Pleas my broth. help me.

      I have not faced that issue before. But if the copier will not boot up in safe mode while holding down the 2 and 8 buttons, the bootrom is damaged. If you are a Canon certified technician, they would allow an exchange of your bootrom for a functional one. If you are not, then my best advice is to find a copier that is a parts donor and harvest that bootrom from it.

          if u can get in download mode your home free, if not , I'm sorry and u will have a big headache.

          If a Network Boot DIMM fails in the field call the TSC @ (800) 528-2830 for instructions to obtain a replacement Boot Rom. The Network Boot Rom DIMM is not stocked as a service part.
