What you are asking for is not only illegal, but unethical as well. You'll get no help here!

            Haha
Why is everyone so sensitive, do you?

Zero the counter said no, heard the 2870 series ..

I was wondering if I write a note.

            All comments are ironic.

I have a good suggestion , why don't u call CANON 1-800-528-2830 TOLL FREE/ and explain to them what you want to do. Instead of wasting time with nonsense in the Forums

The comments, while seeming ironic to you, are telling you that we do not condone this practice.

The only counters that should ever be zeroed are the consumable items like rollers and fixing webs and such.

We are not really that sensitive,, we have discussed this several times before with other posters. You may want to search out those past threads on this topic.

Don't hold your breath, although, that may be a good idea in your case.

And on another note, when asking strangers to go out of their way to help you,it's customary to say 'please'

To zero the counter you must remove the counter pcb from the copier and then drill a small hole in the center of the board using a 1/4: drillbit. Then reinstall pcb. Spray the circuit board with machine oil prior to installing. While performing this procedure it helps to have a 9v battery with you and you must lick the battery contacts while performing this counter reset procedure. Very important--this reset must be done while completely naked!
