When you say "printout" do you mean a test page 6 from service mode? That looks like a normal sky shot form a digital copier, they pick up reflected light with the lid up.

Have you replaced the corona wires?

If you are making heavy fill copies I think there is a setting in service mode to increase the amount of toner added in the developer so it will keep up with the demand. I'll look that up and post later.

As the man said , is that a skyshot?

If not it looks like the Primary Fan Duct on the front of the machine has broken one of its screw holders.

Cheat the door and push it in with your finger , see if you get a change.

I'm with Mr. Screwtape on this one----Coronas ---- wouldn't mind it though CanonSco - if you could elaborate a bit more on why the fan duct would do this. Just curious.

I started to think the same. Why would this matter??

After all the fan duct panel or primary front cover panel, what ever we call it. This panel opens up the laser shutter.

I guess it could effect the laser beam sightly, but im sure a E100 would occur.

                Yes , laser beam effected.

Seen it enough times to now carry the Fan duct. Only on 6570's though.

You can repair them though. Is a very easy thing to check.

Out of the first half dozen I saw, only 2 had E100's in the history.

In fact the first one I saw was suffering from exactly the kinda shot of the OP plus E100's. So of course I went down the route of replacing just about everything

Stumbled across the broken plastics by accident whilst cheating the door and by chance leaning on it.
